We help retailers, marketplaces, and mobile device manufacturers, deliver unprecedented customer engagement with visual AI solutions that connect shoppers with the products that inspire them.

As the Director of Full-Stack Software Engineering, you will lead multiple full stack and front-end engineers. 

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the existing teams, as well as growing the teams. In addition, you will be responsible for the technical aspect of enhancing the existing platforms as well as leading the research of new technologies and integrating the platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and recruit team members across multiple teams.
  • Manage the development of new features according to the product roadmap while supporting customer customization requests.
  • Work closely with the VP of R&D, backend and devops, machine learning, data science and pre/post sale, Product Management, Support, Customer Success and the technical solutions team.
  • Motivate employees and retain them

Requirements

  • A proven track record of 5+ years, building and managing high performing teams in a startup company
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build, execute and own the team’s success and improvements
  • Great in dealing with customers customization requests and escalations
  • Great sense for UX/UI
  • 10+ years of programming experienceat least 5 years building full-stack, cloud-based products
  • Experience with one of the leading front end frameworks (React/Vue/Angular)
  • Experience with AWS
  • NodeJS/Python 
  • CI/CD

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB
  • Experience with Event-Driven architecture, and Microservices patterns and tooling.
  • Have participated in an end-to-end big data and/or large scale performance challenge.

The right candidate should be a natural problem-solver and a strong communicator.

She/He will work in close collaboration with Syte’s R&D, Customer Success and Product Teams.

She/He will actively engage in cross department projects and strongly influence the product's evolution by providing viable feedback to advance the future of our product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of customer technical issues, including initial troubleshooting, identification of root cause, and issue resolution and communication.
  • Serve as point of contact on customer escalations and ensure customer issues are resolved meticulously.
  • Work with our amazing R&D and product teams on escalations and product enhancement requests.
  • Enrich our client Knowledge Base with relevant technical information.
  • Create and lead support improvement processes across the company.
  • Be a stakeholder in the company’s roadmap by providing product feedback and insights to the business and R&D teams.
  • Manage various internal projects, such as: training, ensuring support readiness for new feature releases, etc.

Requirements

  • Passion for solving customer issues in a fast paced environment
  • 3 years of experience with technical support / QA / data analysis/ development/ technical account management
  • Experienced in working with ETLs and large data sets
  • Fluent in English
  • Structured and process-oriented
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Multitasking and ability to work independently

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the eCommerce ecosystem 
  • Willing to work Monday to Friday
  • Knowledge in Web Development 
  • Experience working in SaaS-based startups
