THE CHALLENGE

Continuing the Social Experience On-Site

Social commerce on mainstream social media channels, such as Instagram Shopping, is not available to Vietnamese brands and retailers, which poses a challenge for Mean Blvd’s sales funnel and conversion (CVR). The womenswear retailer’s support team receives many queries about products featured on social media and was in search of a solution to quickly locate items for its customer base. Shoppers arriving on the site are also keen on shopping an entire look, not only a single item, which necessitated smart product recommendations to inspire consumers to discover complementary items.

THE SOLUTION

Shopping Entire Looks Through Product Discovery

Mean Blvd implemented Syte’s full visual suite, including Image Search, the Discovery Button on its product listing pages (PLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs), as well as the “Shop the Look” and “You May Also Like” recommendation carousels. Syte’s technical implementation has made it easier for Mean Blvd’s support team to find products for customers arriving on its website, especially from various social media channels. When shoppers view a product detail page, the “Shop the Look” recommendation carousel inspires buyers to explore more and stylize an entire outfit, which has boosted CVR and cross-sells.
