Syte and luxury fashion marketplace, Farfetch, are excited to announce that the two companies won the first-ever Glossy Award Europe in the categories “Best Brand Collaboration” and “Best Product Launch Campaign” for ‘See it, Snap it, Shop it’.
The Glossy Awards Europe recognize the companies transforming the European fashion and beauty industries. On July 9, 2019, the organization announced the first batch of winners as judged by executives from top media and retail brands such as Work&Co, Glamour U.K and Fekkai Bastide Retail Brands, and more.
Farfetch, the luxury online retail platform that serves shoppers in almost 200 countries, collaborated with Syte and launched the award-winning, in-app ‘See it, Snap it, Shop it’ feature in 2018.
Powered by Syte’s visual AI technology, the solution allows customers to take a photo or a screenshot of any outfit inspiration and shop visually similar options available in the Farfetch inventory. To encourage user adoption, Farfetch and Syte rolled out awareness-focused campaigns that educate shoppers about the functionality and benefits of using the in-app visual search tool during the product launch.
Syte powers visual search, recommendation engines, deep tagging, and in-store smart solutions for retail. Through its visual AI technology that is industry benchmarked as best, Syte empowers brands, retailers, and marketplaces like Farfetch to connect more customers to products that inspire them.
In an increasingly visual world, Syte provides retailers with a strong competitive advantage that delivers a unique, convenient, and relevant customer experience that shoppers are looking for.
